We are
Pollinator Strong
Pollinators provide ongoing, valuable benefits to our members’ daily lives, our agriculture, our environment—and we are committed to restoring pollinator-friendly habitats in our local communities. That’s why Great River Energy is actively working to re-establish habitats across our state that pollinators like birds, bees and butterflies need to eat, live and do their work.
Investing in our future
We’ve developed more than 300 acres of pollinator-friendly land and are committed to planting and restoring an additional 300 acres of habitat by 2029. These efforts have earned us membership in the monarch candidate conservation agreement with assurances (CCAA), a voluntary program to create habitat for the monarch butterfly on rights of way and other lands.
