A south metro not-for-profit power cooperative is looking to relocate to Lakeville with expanded headquarters, according to planning documents.
The Dakota Electric Association, or DEA, has submitted a preliminary plat to the city of Lakeville for a project that, if built, would develop a building that’s about 176,700 square feet with office, warehouse and storage elements, planning documents show.
The Lakeville Planning Commission held a public hearing for the project on Feb. 20, recommending the project for approval. It now goes before the Lakeville City Council, whose next meeting is slated for Monday, March 3.
